FAQ to Founder Dr. Mathias Stockinger

Q: What is your religious background?

A: I am a baptised and confirmed Roman Catholic - but my faith has grown beyond the bounds of that. I believe in a kind of scientific approach to God, where every religion is a piece of the puzzle - and that the truth of God can be found by TRIANGULATON. Thus  I am an avid student of religions, cults and ideologies - through the spectrum, all around the world, throughout history. The question how they came about, how they influence peoples decisions and especially how they manifest in real life. Especially the life way is strongly influenced by our leading ideologies, as ideology influences decisions - and decisions shape the life's way. Thus the same circumstances can lead to great loss or great victory depending on your decisions! How does a religion or ideology solve a certain dilemma? "What are their fruits (the real life results shaped by the decisions influenced by this ideology)?", as Jesus would say. One intent of Jesus was to reform Judaism - and in a sense I can understand why Jesus came back to Judaism, because of the deep wisdom and real life effectiveness contained in Rabbinical wisdom.

Q: What do you mean by God?

A: Current doctrine needs an evil counterpart to explain God. But we need no evil counterpart to explain God, if we accept the key that Viktor Frankl gave us to understand God in all of his glory, assembling all the pieces, aggregating also the seemingly divergent and contradictory pieces, comprising a unified vision of God, where God needs no counterpart. The key observation that Viktor Frankl made, as a Jewish survivor of Nazi concentration camp Ausschwitz, was: "Also of your suffering - you have to prove yourself worthy." (Book: "Man's Search for Meaning" by Viktor Frankl) This observation unlocks a whole new understanding of God, unlocks the unifying vision of God: "Suffering is not Gods punishment." Realise how you can now understand the story of Jesus.

Q: What about your own life?

A: I always felt like I have a higher calling, I felt it since my early childhood years. I am "truly baptized" in the sense that Jesus meant it: "To die for the world - and to live for God." Dedicating my life to God (since 1999). I have achieved many good things since then, moving forward slowly, but steadfast, steadily improving my value to God. But also I doubted, until Viktor Frankl saved my soul - following Viktor Frankl, I realised that suffering is the way to receive greatness - I embraced it - and with the stones that were put in my way - I paved my way.
